Become Facilitator

Facilitators are trained to deliver PCAU’s child safety lessons to students, parents, and community groups. They use age-appropriate scripts, visuals, and activities designed to help children understand boundaries and safe behavior.

Their role isn’t investigative or clinical. It’s educational and focused on building awareness and life skills.

Facilitator training is open to adults who are committed to child safety and interested in teaching prevention content in their communities. Many facilitators are educators, school staff, social service providers, or community volunteers.

No prior teaching experience is required. The program provides all the tools needed to lead lessons confidently.

Training includes curriculum learning, practice teaching, and required assessments. Most participants complete the program in a short, structured timeframe.

Additional support is available afterward to help new facilitators feel fully prepared before presenting in schools or groups.

Facilitators gain access to lesson scripts, presentation slides, handouts, parent resources, and guidance aligned with Utah standards.

These materials ensure every facilitator delivers consistent, accurate, and age-appropriate prevention education.

Facilitators often work with elementary schools, PTA groups, after-school programs, religious organizations, and community centers.

This flexibility helps prevention education reach parts of Utah where PCAU educators may not be available year-round.

Yes. Facilitators receive ongoing guidance, updated materials, and opportunities for continued learning. PCAU stays connected with facilitators to help them grow, troubleshoot challenges, and stay aligned with current best practices.
